SPRING REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 15TH, 2026
The WMBA Community League is a city-wide league where teams compete against other teams from different areas in the city. Teams are formed based on Community Centre catchment areas. The WMBA adheres to a fair play and zero tolerance model to ensure young athletes compete in a Fun and Safe environment. The WMBA operates a Fall/Winter League from October through March and a Spring League from April through June.
Current Programs:
Spring (April - June): WMBA Spring Community League (ages 7-18) - Registration opens February 15th - March 20th 2026
Fall/Winter (October-March): WMBA Fall/Winter Community League (ages 7-17) - Registration CLOSED.

WMBA Spring 2026 Community League (Age 7-17) (REGISTRATION OPENS FEBRUARY 15TH, 2026)
The WMBA Community Centre League is a city-wide league where teams compete against other teams from different areas in the city. Players register online for their catchment community centre and teams are formed based on those Community Centre catchment areas. If the community centre you register under cannot host a team, players will be transferred to the next nearest community centre that can accept the transfer. The WMBA adheres to a fair play and zero tolerance model to ensure young athletes are competing in a Fun and Safe environment. Fees:
Total League fees are made up of the WMBA Membership Fee ($179.00), Community Club basketball fee (Community Club fees average around $80.00-$100.00), and an annual Canada Basketball membership fee ($9.00).
Please note that the WMBA has a NO REFUND policy. Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the Executive Director.
Spring 2026 Season Important Dates:
