Coaches Registration/ Requirement
Coaching Requirements
Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association has the following 2 REQUIREMENTS for all Coaches:
1. Criminal Record Check
Who: All Head Coaches only
Where: Register online as a Coach(Staff) in RAMP, and select the checkbox for a TRITON Background Check if you have not provided a criminal record check to the WMBA in the last 5 years.
Reimbursement: There is no fee to pay, the WMBA will be billed directly for the Triton background check.
2. Respect in Sport Certification
Who: This course is a provincial requirement for all Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Team Managers
Where: https://sportmanitoba.respectgroupinc.com/koala_final/ *You will receive a certification number upon completion. This MUST be provided to the WMBA.
When: Certification expires 60 months from the course completion date
Reimbursement: No cost
