WMBA Opening Weekend

WMBA regular season start dates for Community League Play.

Oct. 28, 2023 to Oct. 29, 2023

WMBA Community League will open on October 28th/29th, 2023.

Ages 7-12 will open their seasons on October 28th, 2023 between 9am and 6pm at various gyms TBD.

Ages 13-18 will open their seasons on October 29th, 2023 between 9am and 6pm at various gyms TBD.

The Winnipeg Minor Basketball Association was established in 1997 with a vision to provide a structured basketball league for children in the Winnipeg area, open for all to participate. The league tipped off with 40 teams based out of 12 Community Centers. The WMBA now supports over 200 teams and offers six leagues spanning all age groups.
